With 40+ years experience playing and coaching tennis at all levels, I’ve spent a lifetime helping players grow their skills and love for the game.
In May 2024 I found my way to Pickleball and was instantly hooked. Just a few months later I entered my first tournament, the 2024 English Open, and proudly came away with gold in both singles and doubles in the over-45 category.
That same summer we launched Purple Pickleball and since then have introduced 300 plus people to the sport. What I love most about coaching Pickleball is the people – every session is a chance to connect, build community and share the joy of the game.
Pickleball coaching isn’t just for beginners it’s for anyone who wants to improve, stay sharp and enjoy the game to its fullest and we’re here to help you do just that.

In first started playing pickleball in 2024 after 25 years of tennis, where inplayed at a national level as a junior. I have been coaching tennis full time since 2014.
In my first competition last year I partnered Matt Lee to win gold at the English Open 3.5 men’s doubles, and have since been selected for the Hertfordshire County Team. I currently have a DUPR of 4.6.
Since we started purple pickleball last summer we have introduced over 300 people to pickleball. My favourite thing about teaching pickleball is getting new people to play the game and seeing the enjoyment and sense of community it brings. It is such social and addictive game!

I first started playing pickleball in June 2024 after 24 years of tennis where I played at national level. I have been coaching tennis players at a national and international level for almost 10 years.
In my first competition I partnered Roy Knight to win gold at the English Open 3.5 men’s doubles event having only been playing pickleball for 1 week. Since then I have played nationals beating national/international level players and have also been to Germany to play in the RTA events.
I find I enjoy coaching pickleball at any level whether this be people starting out as beginners or people that have been competing at a high level. It is a rapidly growing sport that brings people together, it requires a lot of technical and tactical play as well as being a physically demanding sport.
